Fabric Trade Show Displays

Adding fabrics to a display are a cost-effective way to get large, bold and vibrant custom images across a wide area with minimal seams. Fabric graphics are lower in cost than the older traditional way of doing graphics that use lexan or hard boards. They are less prone to damage than the harder materials. The fabrics can be washed, dried, steamed and ironed for easy storage. It is also possible to gain significant savings when the time comes to ship the display, as fabric graphics are much lighter. Not only will there be a shipping cost savings the lighter weight can result in lower storage costs.

Fabric trade show displays are growing in popularity due to the lightweight portable hardware, easy trade show set up, long lasting functionality and vivid graphics. The fabric can be applied to pop-up, tubular, magnetic, hybrid, tabletop, and geometric displays as well as counters and podiums, hanging signs and so much more.

Fabric graphics attached to display hardware in a few different ways. They can be applied with velcro, stretched over a tube frame, or with a silicon edge strip that is sewn onto the graphic. The silicon edge strip is then pressed into a channel on an aluminum frame, allowing for a very tight, wrinkle-free appearance. Fabric trade show displays are easy to set up and can be ready for your event immediately.

There are several add-on options available for pop up displays. Some of these include monitor mounts, lights, stand-off graphics, backlit headers, and case to counter conversions. As one might expect, adding accessories will increase the number of shipping cases.

Pop up displays come in several different sizes and configurations. They range from a table top to 20’+. Frames can be connected together to create infinite display sizes. Frames are available in curved as well as flat.

There are a few different ways to present your message on a pop up display. The traditional way is with fabric panels (carpet) and Velcro on graphics. This method works well when graphics are frequently changed out and updated.

For another look, there are fully printed mural graphics. These graphics are laminated Lexan prints that are applied to the pop-up frame using magnetic strips. Graphics roll up and store in the shipping cases.

The more recent development with pop up frames is the full-color fabric graphic. The fabric graphic is a single piece dye sub print that is attached to the pop-up frame using Velcro. The graphic remains on the frame during set up and takes down/storage. This style greatly reduces the number of parts and set up time. The shipping weight is also greatly reduced.

Curved

The most common display in the trade show business is the curved pop-up display. Frames are made of durable lightweight aluminum. Some manufacturers offer a lifetime, no questions warranty on their frames. They are very easy to set up, only requiring one person. The frame “pops up” into place. Frames accept rollable fabric or mural panels that attach to the frames via magnetic channel bars. The latest trend is fabric murals which are attached to the frame with Velcro.

Curved pop-ups come in tabletops, 8ft, and 10ft sizes. Frames can be connected together to create different configurations. Accessories such as shelving, monitor mounts, and literature racks can be applied to the frame hardware.

Choosing a pop-up display can save you money on storage, transportation, drayage, and on labor.

Flat

Flat frame pop-ups offer many of the same features as the curved pop-ups.

Flat frames can also be integrated with curved frames to create several different configurations. The amount of exhibit space is the limit!

Accessories such as shelving, monitor mounts, and literature racks can be applied to the flat frame hardware.

S Shape

“S” shape pop-ups feature frames that are made of durable lightweight aluminum. Some manufacturers offer a lifetime, no questions warranty on their frames. They are very easy to set up, only requiring one person. The frame “pops up” into place. Frames accept rollable fabric or mural panels that attach to the frames via magnetic channel bars.

The “S” shape is configured using 2 10ft curved frames. The frames are connected using a hinged channel bar. There are also some smaller “S” shape configurations using only one frame.

Choosing a pop-up display can save you money on storage, transportation, drayage, and on labor.

1-Person Assembly

A big benefit of the pop-up display is one-person set-up. Pop-ups don’t require any tools which will help to keep one out of trouble with show union labor. Frames pop up using a fast lock technology. Panels are then attached using hooks at the top of the panels and magnetic strips on the backs that attached to vertical channel bars on the frames.

Pop-ups with fabric murals are even easier to set up since there are fewer parts. Mural graphics remain attached to the frames which amount to basically a one-step set-up.
